ALEX JOHNSTON WINS DAU MEDAL Story & Photo's By :
Endeavour Sports High School held the 2012 TPS RugbyLeague presentation night at the Caringbah Baptist Church again this year and was celebrated by the entire Endeavour family.
The big news of the night was again to award the DAU MEDAL which is one of the most prized awards in rugby league.
This year the 2012 DAU MEDAL was presented to an emotional Alex Johnston.
Alex who has only been in the rugby league program for 2 years has had a most outstanding year, including being selected in the Australian Schoolboys and was Man of the Match in the 2nd Test against the highly rated England Academy
Once again the Endeavour old boyz cared enough to attend and help with the presentations.
The 2012 STAN TROPHY winner is Jaden Clarke.
Jaden has also have a sizzling year, 12 months ago Jayden was in France and the UK playing for the Australian Institute of Sport side, then joined Endeavour TSP rugby league program, signed with the mighty Cronulla Sharks and won the Peter Sterling Medal as the best schoolboys player in Australia.

ENDEAVOUR FAMILY SHOW WHY FOOTY PROGRAM IS SUCH A SUCCESS Story & Photo's By :
Endeavour SHS have had a very successful 2012 competing in 3 grand finals winning 2 including the NSWCHS University Shield and the Chase Stanley Cup.
Endeavour had competed in the past 2 Uni Shield Grand Finals only to see the title slip away, but not this year, the boyz had more to prove and were tidy winners over a very talented Matraville SHS at Shark Park a few weeks ago
Not to be outdone on the day, the u15's played a determined game to be very close winners of the Chase Stanley Cup in a tough game.
It was important for these boyz to regain the title as Chase Stanley was the 1st to jump from the ship to a successful NRL career and played 1st grade for St. George/Illawarra whilst still at school.
The Opens squad has a stellar season defeating all commers right up to the GIO Schoolboys Cup grand final only to come across possibilly the best schoolboys team in a decade or more. Patrician Brothers Blacktown with the record 7 Australian Schoolboys and up and coming superstars all over the paddock.
All teams worked hard through out the 2012 year and will be taking that hard won battle experience with them well into 2013 and beyond.
Don't forget the Endeavour SHS presentation night on Friday the 16th of Nov, it is on again at the Caringbah Baptist Church, c ya's there - GO THE SHIP!!

WESTFIELDS & MATRAVILLE WIN 1st CHS MATCHES Story & Photo's By :
School footy kicked off today with the NSW CHS University & WC Buckley Shields. The Hills SHS had the day off as Hunter couldn't make up the numbers to play today, meanwhile.. .,
Illawarra SHS travelled up the highway to play Matraville SHS at Yarra and it will be a sad old trip south with both teams getting smashed, the Uni Shield Matto won 42 - 6 & the score in the Buckley Shaield was 56 - 6.
Big wins to both the Matraville Sports High School teams.
In todays 3 match up, Endeavour SHS played host to Westfields SHS at the Field of Dreams, Westfields prooved to good in the opening Uni Shield match running away to win by 10.
The U14's Buckley Shield match was a beauty with both teams very close for most of the game, only late in the 2nd half did Westfields storm home with some really good team points to win 14 - 32

2011 saw the 10 th anniversary of the prestigous DAU MEDAL which is arguably the highest honour in rugby league.
The Koroi family put on the nights entertainment which was fantastic as Dau's big brother and his 2 piece band Undervoi - K, provided some groovey early entertainment which had the hall pumping.
Kenny Koroi and his family also provided a feast for the Endeavour family which was sensational with too much choice to put on one plate.
Take note Dave Davids, Pizza nites are over (lol) the bar has been lifted.
Another lighlight of the evening was the presence of many of the Endeavour Old Boys who were proud to be apart of this historic night.
All 9 former DAU Medalist were on hand as was Franky WINTERSTIEN who is meant to be in England for his Super LEague club for pre season training, which again shows how highly regarded the DAU Medal is in the football world.
