IGNATIUS PARK SHS 2006 UNDER 16's TOUR GAMES

- Well Thursday's game between Endeavour SHS and Ignatius Park at Shark Park was great to watch, a few dozen screaming parents, a few sharkies officals and even Australian and new Cronulla coach Ricky Stuart was impressed with the way that the Ingy & Endeavour boys played today.

All the guys that played today are in their schools Under 16's team, both teams had players who competed in this years Arrive Alive Cup including AAC Player of the tournement Matthew Mundine who sneaked in for a late try.
The scores are not important as the footy seaon is over for the young fella's so this end of year muck around game is the second year in a row that Ignatius Park have travelled south for, we look forward to their return next year too.

After the game both teams sat on Shark Park and Endeavour coach Jeff Hardy thanked the Igny boys for coming down to play again.
On Friday Igny take on Matraville SHS, some of the boys had their heads bandaged up so it will be a interesting game. - Good luck to both teams, -

ARRIVE ALIVE CUP SEMI FINAL UPDATE - 08/09/06

Endeavour SHS will defend their ARRIVE ALIVE CUP title against KEEBRA PARK SHS in this yeard AAC NATIONAL FINAL.
Tonight's game at EnergyAustralia stadium saw some of the best football of the competition all year. " the game was really tough in the 1 st 10 minutes, Patrician Brothers hit us with everything they had, it was promising to see the boys stick to the plan for us to pull away with a good win " said Endeavour coach Dave Howlett..

When contacted tonight KEEBRA PARK coach Greg Lenton said " we are looking forward to the challenge of competing in the Arrive Alive Cup in Sydney again this year. "

This years Arrive Alive Cup will again feature two of the Nations Top Rugby League Schools, Keebra Park were runners up last year and are keen on playing Endeavour SHS again.

Thursday 07/09/06 SPIES reports that the Endeavour SHS Rugby League team is training well and that all the boys are keen to get it on tomorrow night in the play off to see who get to play KEEBRA SHS in the Arrive Alive Cup GRAND FINAL on Sept 23.

As the NRL finals kick off, teams travel to Newcastle this Friday to decide who will face Keebra Park in the 2006 Arrive alive Cup final. Endeavour Sports High looks nearly unstoppable, crushing all opposition on a steam rolling run through the competition. Endeavour SHS played Farrer Memorial Agricultural H. S. in the Elite UNIVERSITY SHIELD. The Powerful Endeavour Forwards were too strong for the Ferrer Boys, continuely breaking through the Ferrer line to open many gaps for Endeavour's speedy backs.. (Match report coming)

Arrive alive Cup Update

St. Brendan's take on the might of KEEBRA PARK STATE SCHOOL in the North Queensland Final of the ARRIVE ALIVE CUP at Browne Park, Rockhampton this Saturday the 19 th August.
St. Brendan's College has not won a Queensland Championship since the days of COWBOYS Champion ' PAUL BOWMAN ' in 1993.
St. Brendan's team is led by DAVID TAYLOR who has played a few NRL games this year with the BRISBANE BRONCO'S & a very powerful forward pack.
St. Brendan's Principal Mr. DASH says " this is our best chance is years, we have a really good bunch of boys in the team this year, we would love to go down south and test ourselves against the likes of the Matraville & Westfields SHS's, some of the BIG Sydney Schools "

ENDEAVOUR SHS WIN ST. MARY'S CUP. Local Endeavour SHS played in dreadful conditions at Western Weekender Stadium St Marys yesterday to win the St. Mary's Cup 30 - 20. Endeavour Coach Dave Howlett said; "We had a great win 30-20. We rested all 17 players for Friday [arrive alive cup game at shark park] and Westfields had their full strength team in. Judah Wikeepa and Kevin Naqaima were joint m-o-m-"

ENDEAVOUR SHS TAKE ON WESTFIELDS SHS in the annual Elite St. Mary's Cup School Comp. We are playing westfields sports in the st marys cup final at western weekender stadium st marys on wed july 26th kicking off at 2pm. the st marys cup is a round robin tournament for opens teams at elite chs rugby league schools. as we are playing aa cup on friday there will be many players resting.

REP FOOTY NEWS 13/07/06 - Over 250 people watched last nights 2 Rep trial games played at Shark Park between local rivals Cronulla Vs St. George, both sides showed the quality of talent in both districts.
The games were played with 3 x 20 minutes periods and in the ' Spirit of Touring Barbarians ' the Cronulla youngsters represented their individual clubs by wearing club colours, and it was good to see many kids from a whole pack of different clubs to show some pride for their home clubs.
The Under 15's game was special with Australian Schoolboy Kyle Stanley playing with the Dragons side who was last week named, 'Most valuable player for his NSW CHS team in the Aussie championships in Perth.

CONGRATULATIONS to the new AUSTRALIAN UNDER 15 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
OURFOOTYTEAM.COM MEDIA RELEASE - NSW Combined Catholic Colleges (NSW CCC) who with the help of St. Pat's Sutherland student Matthew Summers defeated Queensland in the Championship Final in Perth.
Congratulations to all teams who competed in this years Championship. The standard of Sportsmanship, skill, & speed was of the highest standard.
Day 6 once again showed local talent of John Nicholas score a great try in his side thumping of the NSW CIS Side.
Day 4 saw 2 local Endeavour SHS boys Kyle Stanley (2 tries) & John Nicolas (2 goals) star in NSWCHS romp over the ACT.
