2011 saw the 10 th anniversary of the prestigous DAU MEDAL which is arguably the highest honour in rugby league.
The Koroi family put on the nights entertainment which was fantastic as Dau's big brother and his 2 piece band Undervoi - K, provided some groovey early entertainment which had the hall pumping.
Kenny Koroi and his family also provided a feast for the Endeavour family which was sensational with too much choice to put on one plate.
Take note Dave Davids, Pizza nites are over (lol) the bar has been lifted.
Another lighlight of the evening was the presence of many of the Endeavour Old Boys who were proud to be apart of this historic night.
All 9 former DAU Medalist were on hand as was Franky WINTERSTIEN who is meant to be in England for his Super LEague club for pre season training, which again shows how highly regarded the DAU Medal is in the football world.

SHIP SAILS INTO STIFF BREAZE Story & Photo's BY :
Endeavour was on the road again yesterday taking 2 teams to Ringrose Park to play The Hills Sports High School.
In the 1st game, the NSWCHS Buckley Shield, the under 14's did good and came back to take away a draw with the final scores being 22 - all
The big boys faced world champions The Hills SHS with a few gun players on the bench with injuries and although the Endeavour boyz played their hearts out, it was not good enough on the day to defeat the porweful Mark Horo coached school side.
We now need Hunter SHS to hammer The Hills to remain in the ARL Schoolboys Cup Comptition.

THE SHIP SAILS OVER MATTO Story & Photo By :
The Endeavour Sports High school NSWCHS University & Buckley Shield teams had a near perfect start to their 2011 campaign this afternoon on the "Field of Dream' by defeating the visiting Matraville SHS team.
The first game was the opens Uni Shield team who smash Matraville 54 - 14 in a display which should have pleased coaches Dave Howlett, Jeff Hardy and Brad Kelly.
Neither Endeavour or Matraville played their Junior Rep players in this first game which gave all squad players an opportunity to impress and play.
Endeavour showed plenty of skill wide and lots of power up the middle with 8 try scores for the day and included a double from Dean Spanos belting Matto 54 - 14
The under 14 Buckley Shield boyz were not to be outdone by their bigger mate, smashing Matto 42 - 8 in a good display of attacking football scoring 7btries to 2 and inclued a might 4 try effort from Joseph Mitrevski.

Defending Buckley Shield Champions Westfields SHS who have won the for the past 5 years play a talented young side from Bass HS.
while on the "Field of Dream" Endeavour take on Matraville SHS
All four games should be crackers and most of the young players from the schools will get a run because none of the Unversity Shield games will be featuring any Junior Reps players at this stage of the year.
