Nick Couparitsas, Dragons players Matt Bickerstaff, Sam Isemonger and Shark Ben Ross. The clinic will take place at St Josephs College Hunters Hill from 1pm on Wednesday 12 July 2006.
“These children are the future of Rugby League and I love nothing more than being able to provide them with some insights to the game that has provided me with so many opportunities,” Current Parramatta, NSW State of Origin and Australian Kangaroos representative Nathan Hindmarsh said. “It is inspiring to see the children’s enthusiasm and to provide them with vital sporting and healthy lifestyle messages at the same time.” This is the second year the ‘Super Clinic’ has been run in Sydney and is one of 70 clinics for over 8000 children Macquarie Bank Sports runs each year. All clinics are hosted by national sporting identities in rugby union, cricket, rugby league, netball, basketball and hockey, enabling children to learn from their role models.
Macquarie Bank Sports, Chief Operating Officer, Brad McCarroll said: “The program aims to give as many children as possible a chance to experience rugby league and meet positive role models.
It is wonderful to see so many elite players from different Sydney NRL clubs lending their time to pass on their knowledge and experience to many of the up and coming League players.”
*All players will be available for interviews and photographs during the day.
