SOUTH SYDNEY RABBITOH'S ARE THE 2019 JERSEY FLEGG CUP CHAMPIONS
The South Sydney Rabbitohs are the 2019 Jersey Flegg Cup premiers after a drama-filled 16-14 victory over the Canberra Raiders at Bankwest Stadium.
There were incredible scenes after the siren when Souths were penalised for a deliberate forward pass. The Raiders had a chance to send the game into extra time with a kick at goal for a tough position, but it was waved away. |

The Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks Jersey Flegg have secured the minor premiership and put themselves in a great position to defend their under-20's title, with a hard fought 12-0 win over the Newcastle Knights.
Playing against a desperate Newcastle side on their home turf, the Sharks were outstanding defensively in the atrocious conditions, holding their opponents scoreless in what was the last regular season game of the season. |

The NSWCHS Buckley and University Shield Semi Finals for the Sports High Schools gets under way on Tuesday 27 August at the Aubury Keech Reserve.
In the Uni Shield Semi Final, Westfields SHS get it on with Endeavour SHS, Westfields were awesome in their last match, the Schoolboy Cup Semi Final where they smashed a brave Farrer MAHS to earn their place in this years Schoolboy Cup Grand Final, Endeavour were unlucky with a couple late tries to Patrician Bro's deciding their Schoolboy Cup Dreams for 2019, both Westfields and Endeavour are very likely to field full strengh sides and should be a cracker of a Semi Final.

There was end-to-end action at BMD Kougari as the Wynnum Manly Seagulls and Tweed Seagulls went head-to-head to see who be the state champions in the Auswide Bank Mal Meninga Cup.
While it was an entertaining game with plenty of highlights, in the end it was Tweed Seagulls who won 28-24. |

The North Sydney Bears picked up their first win of the season in the SG Ball earlier today and Corey Fenning had a day out to remember.
The Bears beat the West Coast Pirates 52-12 and Fenning scored 20 of their points. A try in the 24th minute to go with his eight goals was his tally for the afternoon in a win that the Bears hope will kick start their season.

A second half comeback filled with attacking flair has seen the Queensland Murri Under 16 team retain the Steve 'Bear' Hall Shield with a 28-20 win.
