CREEKERS CRANK IT UP IN 2010
Mountain Creek State High School will run their "Rugby league" development program for the 8th year in 2010.

The "Creekers" have enjoyed success in the past, having won the "Steve Renouf Shield", the "Michael Hancock Cup" and the "Kevin Walters Cup".

In 2009 our yr 11 boys played in the open Sunshine Coast/Wide bay competitions, going through undefeated, winning both the Wide Bay shield and the "Sunshine Coast" Broncos Challenge.

We look forward to another successful year here at the Creek in 2010.

MATT GILLIMAN
Captain of 2009's undefeated Creekers team.
Matt will take on the extra responsibility in 2010 of becoming school captain.

Matt will be the 2nd School captain to come from our "rugby league program" (not bad for a school with over 2000 students).

Matt is a true all-rounder. Not only has he represented his state for rugby league but also for kayaking. Matt travelled to the Czech Republic last year to paddle for Australia.
