LUKE CAPEWELL
Luke stands 176 cm tall and weighs 80kgs. Luke began his career with the Charleville Juniors and then moved on to the Roma Wattles.
At 15 Luke then joined the Redcliffe Dolphins where he played for 2 seasons before joining the Norths Devils in Brisbane in 2006.
Away from footy Luke likes to hang out with his mates, go fishing and camping. Luke’s ambition is to play in the NRL and to play state of origin for Queensland.

ISRAEL FALOU
Israel attends Marsden State High School in Queensland and weighs in at 93kgs. He is currently playing for the Norths Devils club and enjoys playing centre or wing.
During his career he has won selection in the Australian 15’s Merit side in 2004 and the Queensland Schoolboys in 2005 and 2006.
He also represented Queensland in the U17’s and U19’s in 2006. He says his biggest influence on his life is his family and he aims to be a positive role for those around him

LIAM FORAN
From Marist College North Shore in North Sydney, Liam is 181cm tall and weighs 84kgs. A member of the N.S.W Combined Catholic Colleges in 2005 and 2006, Liam also played for the North Sydney Bears this year advancing from S G Ball to Jersey Flegg and playing Premier League. His best and most desired position is halfback, loving the opportunity to setup play. Now in his last year of schooling, Liam hopes to play first grade for the Melbourne Storm in 2007, after playing a first grade trial earlier this year against Parramatta. He enjoys going to the beach, fishing, music and relaxing. |
DAVID HALA
David stands 187cm tall and weighs in at 102kgs. David is at home in the front row or second row. David has played for the very successful Redcliffe Dolphins since he turned seven years of age. He is currently on contract with the Sydney Roosters.
Away from footy David enjoys his X box, weights, time with the family and fishing.
David has set himself a goal to be successful in the NRL and to become an electrician after life in footy.

CHRIS LAWRENCE
Chris is 186cm tall and weighs 90kgs. Chris attends St Gregory’s College at Campbelltown and has played for the West’s Magpies for his entire football career. This year Chris has played Premier League but also tasted the NRL in clashes against Melbourne and the Broncos (the NRL Grand Finalists).
Chris loves to play centre, fullback or wing. Away from football he enjoys the beach, the horses and his playstation. Chris wants to establish himself in the NRL and to hopefully become a physio or chiropractor.

TIM MANNAH
At 107kg and 184cm tall, Tim is a robust front rower from Christian Community High School, in Sydney’s Inner West. Tim was an instrumental part of this year’s NSW Combined Independent School’s championship winning side at the ASSRL championships.
Tim also played for Parramatta Eels in SG Ball and Jersey Flegg during the 2006 season. He also enjoys having a laugh, the beach, friends, going to church, and everything about summer. Tim also aspires to pursue a career in the NRL. Surprisingly he also believes he has a modelling career to fall back on. |
JOSEPH PAULO
Joseph attends school at Patrician Brothers College Blacktown in Sydney’s West. He stands at 187cm tall and weighs at 87kg. Joseph was a member of the Penrith Panthers S.G ball team that won the inaugural competition in 2006 and has high hopes of playing NRL one day.
Away from football Joseph also enjoys Rugby Union, going to the movies, mixing with friends, attending church and music.

MITCHELL PEARCE
Mitchell is in his second year with the Australian Schoolboys team and is currently attending Marist College on Sydney’sNorth Shore. His playing positions include halfback and five-eight. Standing 181cms tall and weighing 82kgs Mitchell represented the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges team again in 2006. Mitchell is currently playing Jersey Flegg and Premier League with the Sydney Roosters. Mitchell’s other interests include music and relaxing with friends. |
KEVIN PROCTOR
Kevin has played for Eden’s Landing, Tugun and Ormeau in his rugby league career. His favoured playing positions are second row and lock and standing 189 cm tall and weighing 97 kgs he will be a formidable player in those positions. Away from footy Kevin enjoys the beach and his playstation. His goals are also to experience the NRL and to set himself up in a career as a plumber or carpenter. |
WILL MATTHEWS
Originally from Kyogle, a small town in Northern NSW, Will now lives on the Gold Coast and attends Palm Beach Currumbin High School.
In 2005 he won the Premiership with Kyogle and the Country Championships. Weighing 100kgs and standing 186cms tall Will now plays with the Tweed Heads Seagulls. He also enjoys basketball, spear fishing and the beach. Will also aspires to play in the NRL.

LUKE MUTTDON
From Kiama High School on the South Coast of New South Wales. Luke is a backrower standing at 182cm and weighs 94kg. A member of the NSW CHS side in 2005 and 2006, Luke also played for the Illawarra Steelers SG Ball, NSW U17’s 2005 and is now part of St George Illawarra Dragons Jersey Flegg team. Luke is a quiet achiever and hopes to pursue a career in the NRL and later join the NSW Fire Brigade. Living on the coast Luke also enjoys surfing and fishing. |
GEIA OBADIAH
Obadiah weighs in at 77kgs and stands 177 cm tall. Residing in North Queensland he has played his football with South’s, Palm Island, the Townsville Sharks and the Young Guns. His preferred playing positions are wing and fullback and he hopes to establish himself as a permanent player in the Young Guns squad in 2007.
Away from footy Obadiah likes to spend time with his mates, play touch and to visit Palm Island.

RATU PENI TAGIVE
Ratu stands 192 cm tall and weighs 98 kgs. Ratu stands out as a centre, fullback or winger. Ratu has made his mark with the Western Suburbs Magpies and played SG Ball in 2005 and 2006, Jersey Flegg in 2006 and Premier League in 2006. Away from the game Ratu enjoys hanging out with his mates, time with his family and music.

WILLIAM MATAKA
William attends St Gregory’s College in Campbelltown and weighs in at 102 kgs and stands 181 cm tall. William favours playing in the back row and this year he was a member of the West’s SG Ball and Jersey Flegg teams.
Will also enjoys playing table tennis, pool, soccer but most of all Rugby League. William also aspires to play in the NRL and considers this opportunity to play for his country a great honour.

JOEL THOMPSON
From Red Bend College at Forbes in Central Western NSW, Joel weighs in at 92kgs and stands 186cms tall. Joel enjoys the opportunity to play as a strong running secondrower or as a centre.
Joel represented both the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges and NSW Country teams in 2005 and 2006. Joel is looking forward to stamping his name on the NRL scene and is looking forward to spending the off season with the Melbourne Storm. Away from the game Joel enjoys a variety of sports and time with family and friends. |
TIM ROBINSON
From Patrician Brothers Blacktown in Sydney’s West, Tim is 185cm and weighs 100kg. A member of the Combined Catholic Colleges side in 2006, Tim also plays for the Parramatta Eels in SG Ball and captained that side and the Jersey Flegg team in 2006. He also enjoys any sport that involves a ball. Tim aspires to play in the NRL in the years to come. |
CHRIS SANDOW
From Marsden State High School, Chris is a very exciting young footballer. Chris was a vital member of the Queensland Secondary Schools team which won the Australian Championships in 2006. Chris currently plays for Souths Logan and hopes to establish himself at the Gold Coast Titans in 2007. Chris enjoys playing five-eight, half or fullback. Chris also accredits his success to the influence of his mother and father and enjoys time with his mates. |
NATHAN STRUDWICK
At 88.5 kg Nathan was captain of the Queensland Secondary Schools team which won the Australian Championships in 2006. Nathan has played for the Queensland 17’s in 2005 and the Queensland 19’s in 2006. He is currently playing for the Toowoomba Clydesdales in the Queensland Cup. Nathan also toured England and France with the

AIDEN TOLMAN
Completing his studies at St. Paul's at Kempsey, Aiden aspires to play rugby league in the NRL. His representative honours include selection in the NSW Combined Catholic Colleges U15’s and 18’s, the NSW U18’s and NSW Country U18’s. He is 182cms tall and weighs 103 kg. Aiden lives at Hat Head on the NSW Mid North Coast and apart from Rugby League, Aiden enjoys fishing, surfing and just relaxing. |
SHANNON WALKER
From Palm-Beach Currumbin High School Shannon weighs in at 75kg and is 174 cm tall. Shannon is a first year Queensland and
Australian representative and originally hails from Kyogle on the far north Coast of NSW. Shannon is a very elusive halfback and is now part of the Gold Coast Titans elite academy. Away from football Shannon likes to watch movies or spend time with friends and family. Shannon is looking forward to a successful career in the NRL. |
JEREMIAH WALTERS
Jeremiah weighs in at 92kgs and enjoys playing in the second row or at lock. Jeremiah currently plays with Souths Logan and will next year take up with the Canberra Raiders. Jeremiah has represented the Queensland Schoolboys and has now fulfilled an ambition with selection in the Australian Schoolboys team. His ambition is to be successful at the top level for a long time. Away from footy Jeremiah enjoys music, the movies and time with his mates. |
CAMERON WHITE
From Oxley High school In Tamworth in the North of NSW, Cameron weighs in at 76kg and stands 176cm tall. This is Cameron’s
first stint with the Australian Schoolboys and has shown a strong ability to find the tryline. Cameron was a representative of the NSW Combined High Schools team in 2006 and away from football he enjoys fishing, camping and hunting pigs. Cameron also aspires to play in the NRL. |
JAY ASTON
Jay attends Brisbane State High School in Queensland. He weighs 86kgs and stands 178cm tall. Jay has represented Queensland in the under 16’s, 17’s and 18’s and along with this year he was also selected in the Australian Merit team in 2003. Jay is linked with the Melbourne Storm and hopes to be a professional football player with them within the next couple of years. Jay enjoys all sport related activities along with spending time with his mates. |
JOEL BROWN
From St Philips Christian College, Newcastle. Joel is 176cm tall and weighs 80kg. Joel was a member of Combined Independent Schools team in 2005 and 2006, he was also a member of the Newcastle Knights SG Ball team in 2005 and 2006. As a nuggety hooker Joel is hoping to some day play in the NRL alongside his brother, Riley. Joel is also a big fan of Matt Bowen and Shuan Berrigan. |

Simon HUNTLY Head Coach Simon is the House Co-ordinator at Kildare Catholic College in Wagga Wagga.
As a former teacher and rugby league coach at St.Gregory’s College Campbelltown he enjoyed success as the Aussie Home Loans Cup winners 2000 and Runners up in 2001.
Simon was also the NSWCCC Coach 1999-2001, winning in1999 and 2000 and runners up 2001. Simon was a lower Grade Assistant Coach at Cronulla Sharks 2001-2002. He was the ASSRL Coach in 2005 and holds a Level Three Coaching certificate.
He is married with 2 kids and was the Tour Manager in 2002 for the ASSRL Tour to Great Britain and France. |
Craig BRENNAN
Trainer Craig is the Head Teacher PDHPE at Parramatta Marist High School. Craig has also been the strength and conditioning coach for the Parramatta Eels Premier League team for the past seven years.
They were Premiers in a nail biting Grand Final 2006. Craig has also been involved as the trainer for the ASSRL teams for the past three years.

Andrew PEACH Brian has been Treasurer of Australian Secondary Schools R L for the past 10 years. Prior to that, he was Treasurer of Queensland SSRL.
He had 9 years as an Australian Schoolboy selector, managed the
Qld 18 yrs state side for 4 years and travelled to England in 1991 as Team Manager of the Australian Schoolboys’ team. He also toured England in 1999 as the Executive representative visiting South Africa briefly en route to help plan their

Tour Manager Team Manager In his first year with the ASSRL Steve is a life member of the NSW Combined High Schools Rugby League Association. Steve has managed their teams at the Australian Championships, three times at the 18’s
level where he was part of a championship winning squad on two occasions, and with their 15’s teams on three occasions. Steve is a Social Science Head Teacher at Penrith High School in Western Sydney and has been the Sydney West. |
