KANGAROO CAMERON WHITE is a NSW Country boy though and though. He was born and raised in the small NSW town of Manilla not far home Australia's home of Country Music, Tamworth.
Cameron came up through the junior ranks with the Manilla Juniors before transferring over to North Tamworth. 2006 has so far been a stellar year for young Cameron. He has been playing rugby leafue footy since he was 12, and now he plays for Australia. WOW
Cameron impressed the National selectors at the National Schoolboys Championships held in Perth in July this year. In NSW CHS first game against the ACT Cameron flew in for three great tries and he followed that up with a brilliant try in his next opportunity which was against the ACT again.
Here is just some of his achievements of 2006 |
Below is Whiteys Schoolboy rep history 2006...his involvement with North Tamworth Bears R.L.F.C., ALSO IN 2006, is as follows...
He played in the clubs First Grade side whilst still eligble for our u/18 team.
He was the clubs leading try scorer in all grades , an incredible feat when you consider his rep duties in the same season.
He played centers all season and was a very valued member of a First Grade side that just kept rewriting the clubs record books.
The Bears won their first back to back First Grade Premiership title since 1951/52.
We also won the Minor Premiership , the rich Wests K.O., the inaugural Northern Division Club Championship and were undefeated in ALL games being pipped on the post by Hillston for the Clayton Cup.
The club also won its first Reserve Grade Premiership in 53 years!!
Whitey was honoured last week , in his absence, with the Tamworth Regional Councils Sports Award , Young Sportsman Of The Year and the club also was similarly honoured as the winners of the Sports Team Of The Year.

We won the Premiership this year with the North Tamworth Bears in the first grade, we also won in the under 13's. Not many people get to play in a grand final, it's what it's all about. |
Out of all the blokes in the squad, who does the smelliest farts ? |

Have you meet any good looking girls over there Cam ? |
How is the standard of play over there against the Welsh and Barla compared to say the australian Under 18 Championships in Perth this year? |
"No, i have a girlfriend, Lucy, we've been together for 18 months." |
"I'd say, ya get bashed around a bit in defence, over here which is fun, the standard of players is similar but our ball & hand skills are superior in general at home" |
